Nir is an integrative gastroenterology specialist. He is the founder and director of the integrative gastroenterologyunit in Sheba medical center (the largest hospital in the Middle East). Nir is also a co-founder and acting CEO of the Sino-Israeli Research Foundation (SIRF) an organization conducting academic and research collaboration between world-leading medical centers. Nir currently runs two busy private clinics in Israel, leads innovative research projects, teaches and lectures world-wide about the integrative approach to gastro-intestinal diseases

TREATING DIGESTIVE DISORDERS

Nir started his studies in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in Israel after he returned from traveling is East Asia for a year where he was first exposed to the powerful healing powers of herbal medicine and Qi gong. After completing his studies, he travelled to China and was a personal student of Prof. Liang Chao a revered herbalist and head of the gastroenterology department at the Chengdu university hospital of TCM. During this period Nir fell in love with the deep knowledge TCM herbal medicine had to offer for treating digestive disorders.

  Nir has presented findings in medical conferences (both conventional and alternative) and in publications in medical journals.  Since 2009 he has been teaching the “Stabilizing the Earth” course and workshop to TCM practitioners.  He is an invited lecture in leading medical centers and hospitals in China and Hong Kong where he has been awarded several prestigious awards for “breakthrough innovation” and “clinical merit” for his work

For nearly a decade Nir has been teaching and developing a unique approach to the digestive system and its disorders. By deeply understanding the biological, physiological and energetic aspects of the digestive system Nir has combined these into a comprehensive medical model which can be used clinically as well as a foundation for investigational research

 

Medical journal Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology

The international, multi-center clinical trial “Curcumin induces remission in mild moderate ulcerative colitis” which Nir initiated was published on the cover of the prestigious medical journal Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology Nir has a strong devotion for spreading his unique knowledge and expertise in integrative medicine. Since 2009 Nir has been profoundly active in teaching and lecturing both to professional physicians and the public. He is a regular speaker in medical conferences and teaches his “Stabilizing the Earth” courses and workshops in Israel and abroad
